We collect only what we need to answer you and run your booking, and never sell it. What we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.
KEK Yachting d.o.o. is the data controller for the personal data you share with us. We process it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Croatia’s data-protection law, fairly, transparently, and only for as long as we genuinely need it.

02 What we collect
- Contact & enquiry data, name, email, phone, and the trip details you put in the booking form or send by WhatsApp/email.
- Booking & crew data, once you book: billing address, crew list, licence details and passport/ID where required by maritime law for the crew list.
- Payment data, handled by our bank and card processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data, basic, privacy-respecting analytics and the language/currency you choose, stored locally in your browser.
03 Why we use it & legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and prepare an offer, pre-contractual steps at your request.
- To manage your charter, crew list and check-in, performance of a contract.
- To meet maritime, tax and accounting obligations, legal obligation.
- To send occasional offers, only if you opt in, consent, withdrawable any time.
04 Who we share with
We share data only with the parties needed to deliver your charter: our booking platform NauSYS, the marina and harbour master’s office (crew list), our bank and card processor, our accountant, and our insurer in the event of a claim. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. Some embedded services (e.g. Google Maps) may process limited technical data, see our Cookie Policy.
05 How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don’t become bookings, up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Booking and contract records, for the period required by Croatian tax and accounting law (generally up to 11 years).
- Marketing consent, until you withdraw it.
06 Your rights
Under the GDPR you can, at any time, request: access to your data; correction; deletion; restriction or objection to processing; and data portability. You can also withdraw consent for marketing. Just email us, we’ll respond within 30 days, free of charge.
07 Security
This site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to your data is limited to the few people who need it to handle your booking, and we keep records no longer than necessary. No system is perfect, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
08 Contact & complaints
For anything about your data, write to info@kekyachting.com. If you believe we’ve mishandled your data you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.
